re: Great News!

CAMP DAVID, Md. - President Bush warned Congress Friday that he will continue vetoing war spending bills as long as they contain a timetable for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq.

I doubt it, but if a whole bunch of people get behind the Dems after the veto, this could spiral out of the Rove spin machine control.

Just imagine it, next week, everybody that is against this war; the Dems and Independents and the Reps, called or email their reps, and said "OK, stop it now. Don't fund it". If the public gave the Dems the political cover to actually get it done and finished.

Wouldn't that be a wonderful day in the history of Democracy! It would make me proud of this country again.

Alas...
