Well, tejek, look at it this way. The more the oil countries abuse their oil fields and don't use the latest technology to extract, the less oil we'll have in the future. That will keep oil prices perpetually high. So I hate to say this, but I'm actually glad we have a bunch of moronic countries out there that are using up their oil as fast as they can and keeping oil prices high. That hastens the day when alternatives become a dominant force in automotive propulsion. I believe 100% electric will win out, but keeping the oil prices high will let the market decide the winner.
