Under Bush, billionaires are making huge windfalls and evading taxes, while poverty has skyrocketed and the middleclass is much less secure than they used to be. THis is across the board insecurity. Less health care, less pension security, higher prices for basics, fewer union members and less job security, plus hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs shipped to the third world.

There is no sense posting misleading stats to try and deny this. The entire Bush economic system was written up by Grover Norquist and Steve Forbes types who specifically don't want the richest people in the country to pay taxes, at all. They want to go back to the Robber Baron days when there was no real middleclass, just the very rich and everyone else who were their serfs. Of course they can't break the back of Roosevelt's great Middleclass in one fell swoop, so they are doing so by degrees.

Those making $150,000 a year think they are doing better, but that's a hoax too. True, if you're heavily invested in stocks and sell before thnbe next crash you do well, but the dollar is worth 50% of what it was when Bush came into office and the tax burden is falling heavily on the upper middleclass who don't have the loopholes the very rich do. Read "Perfectly Legal" and find out the truth. If you're making under 500 K a year you're getting screwed.
