Have you seen the front-page Wall Street Journal piece this morning on the leverage in the financial markets? I think it's worse than 1929. The hedge funds, the banks and brokerage houses are completely out of control and apparently exempt from Fed margin regulations. If everything goes bust, even the bear market funds could go bust. I think that if things turn down I will try to go to cash before the worst sets in rather than imagining that I am getting insanely rich.
