If the SparQ is true and can be sold at the prices mentioned SYQT might have a winner on it's hands.

I am a little skeptical on the pricing of the disks though. I think at $33 margins will be slim if any. I believe IOM spends about $18 on the platters for their Jaz Disks(1G). This info came from the MF IOM board so take it with a grain of salt. But if these prices are in the ballpark, I have a hard time believing that SYQT could make money at $33 a pop.

Also, SYQT will obsolete their entire product line with the SparQ. Why buy a SyJet? or EZFlyer? Is SparQ backwards compatible with anything? Guess we will wait and see.

Oh well, as skeptical as I am I bought in a $3 3/4. Rumors don't always have to be true:)
