Because we have ALL been told it is dangerous'
-in our training programs.
- in med school
- in any text of pharmacol
-because the FDA never approved it for oral use for these reasons.
-because it 's half life is vey very low, few minutes.That means it is rapidly destroyed by the body.That means that to have a long lasting , 1/2 hour systemic effect via the oral rout ,you have to give a whoopiing oral dose; and the research shows that that dose is lethal.That is why it is not marketed.
