If you can make money trading this stock then by all means dig in Mr. TW. It hasn't been much good for anyone who doesn't including me. Unfortunately I find the memory business compelling and I am too greedy to give up shares once I buy them. <Hoo><ack><Ugh>

RMTR is still a high risk proposition... after what? ...20, 25 years? It's only been 11 or 12 for me. But we're at a point where the FRAM IP has enough mind share among system and product designers to start seeing another round of RMTR growth beyond the plateau at $10M/Qtr.

Part of that pop should come from the meter sector this year. Another adder should come from sales of the 4Mb devices starting next year. I think we should also begin seeing some entirely new markets beyond the applications now being served and there I don't have a clue as to what, where or when. But I suspect that will all be determined by the likes of Toshiba, Samsung and TI.

Ramtron mentioned a new non-memory application for FRAM on the CC, but I'd have to know more before expecting any major revenue boost from it. I don't even know if they're talking simply about a new application for PZT, or an application that employs a FRAM memory chip, but for a non-memory function.

If the former there are a whole universe of possibilities as other companies have developed hundreds of uses for PZT's optical, electrical, mechanical and thermal properties. If it's the latter... I can't even guess... refrigerator magnets? ...some logic thingy? No idea at all.
