"Petraeus is on the ground doing his job ...who knows better...some retired general....dirty harry reid ...or Petraeus?" Petraeus says there cannnot be a military solution, only a political one. Most common sense people have realized this for over a year. The political solution will not occur while we sit in the middle of the civil war providing easy targets and excuses for all factions not to get a political solution done. If we pull back (not out), it might be surprising to see what happens. I am glad to see you like Petraeus so much. He seems like an honest guy, only constrained in his analysis by the mission he is undertaking currently. Let's watch his comments going forward....and after he is no longer in this particular assignment. by the way, April is the bloodies month of the year for Americans in Iraq. As Whack a Mole move on, let's hope June does not exceed it.
