Your example is akin to Northern Europeans, Canadians, and Americans returning to Africa to colonize the place based on the fact that the whole of humanity began there and they were just reclaiming what was theirs originally.

In addition to that bogus reasoning, they can try to bolster their claim by indicating that they can do more with the land than what the present-day Africans are doing with it.
