Don and all,

Anyone have some news? The stock has been declining of late. All I can report is the usual... the Santa Monica restaurant was packed on Wednesday (10-1-97) night (8 pm) when I stopped by to pick up the KOO. One thing is clear, the chain has loyal customers.

Again I comment, on days when I drive down Wilshire to the beach, Kenny Rogers, California Chicken Rotiserie, and Boston Market have a handful of customers. The KKRO always has a substantially larger crowd. As I have mentioned before California Chicken Cafe has it's own loyal followers and tends to be at capacity during the lunch hour. Perhaps KKRO should have looked more closely at this small chicken chain than a seemingly unrelated chain like Hamlet.

Has anyone been to a Hamburger Hamlet recently? Any changes? Any customers?

Perhaps someone can do a little math and calculate how many restaurants will be needed to produce some positive restults at KKRO.

Fred
