So what do you want to say to them? We'll stay in Iraq forever and watch you blow each other up, and accept that you'll blow our guys up too? Because we can't stop them. You cannot stop an insurgency. You can be so repressive that you tamp it down, but any let up in repression will fire it up again. So Nadine, what exactly do you want? How long do you want to stay, and what do you expect to get for your time? Exactly how long do you want to stay? And exactly what do you think the US can accomplish in that time? And pragmatically- do you think you have a snowball's chance in hell the American people would support what you think is needed?
