We had the veggie planter boxes moved and now we have room for a a Green Gage plum. We have three apple trees, one prune plum tree and two pear trees. Tried cherries before, but they never do well here. I'll just buy them during season.

I brought a little lilac sucker home from my sister's place before she sold and its doing ok except it got some blight on a bit of the new growth. There is other growth that is doing well on the plant, so I think it is going to be ok. It is about 3 ft tall now. Don't expect flowers on it for another couple of years.

I did the same thing with a quince about 5 yrs ago. It looked like a dead stick, but you should see it now.
