LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Lehman Brothers cut Sonus Networks (SONS : sonus networks inc com
SONS7.73, -0.24, -3.0%) , a maker of voice and data communications hardware and software, to equal-weight from overweight and lowered its price target to $7.75 from $9, saying it'd be "challenging" for the company to beat earnings-per-share forecasts for the year. The broker told clients it would be more positive if the stock was around $6.50-$7 or if it could justify a more aggressive view on sales or margins, since voice over Internet is a growing market.
