Stupid? I didn't even know the Turks were killing that many Armenians right now. I know they are trying to contain the Kurds, but I really haven't heard much about the Armenian situation.

Bottom line is that Muslim violence in every country has to be carefully put into perspective. Saudi violence in Saudi Arabia doesn't bother me as long as the Sunnis keep the Shiites under control. Shiite violence against the Sunnis in Iraq doesn't bother me as long as they are keeping the peace and order. Same in Afghanistan, I don't care how many Taliban the Sunnis have to kill in order to keep the peace.

Bottom line, it's like this in the Middle East. We have to do whatever we can to preserve the sovereign governments against medeival militas and terrorists that think they have a right to take control of the government. That's clearly not acceptable to the economic free trade system which requres strong central governments to keep the jihadis and militias from taking control.

In Africa, the Muslims are not meeting any resistance in their efforts to wipe out the governments. They have no political or economic influence to buy that much influence. The Christians down there are being wiped out as the Islamic militias take full control. No one is there to stop them. It makes me feel bad for the families in Somalia, Sudan, or wherever.

The Muslims are fighting the Crusades down there just like they did centuries ago. Should we let the Middle East colonize those countries with their radical jihadi armies or fight a battle we really can't win. Personally, I think we should apply pressure to make China step up to the plate and take care of the problems in Africa. They need to spend their surpluses somewhere.
