NRA is about the Bill of Rights, with emphasis on the 2nd Amendment

Jim, that's my point though; if the NRA doesn't support the person who is supportive of the 2nd amendment, they have entered a territory where they no long represent the 2nd amendment and Constitution, but rather a political idealology. In the East, it may be that the democratic party is anti-gun, in the west that just isn't so. If you suggest the NRA is not so much for guns but for Constitution rights, then you get into stuff like separation of church and state and other freedoms that the republicans trashed! If you think the Constitution can only be attacked from the left, you are making a dreadful mistake.
