I wonder why ethernet support on a backbone switch. It must be to tie in ethernet connections from access switches and lan switches in the isp infrastructure. One certainly would not put this box at the customer premise (the Sahara boxes do this) or run ethernet over the wide area. Any thoughts from any techies?
