TJ, congratulations on moving out of the Aztec realm in which you were becoming enmeshed like a zombie cult member. You are now into the CDMA realm. You will experience peace, light, harmony, happiness, health, prosperity, longevity, fun and love.
That is a very swanky looking gadget with lots of specs and stuff.

I see it is lacking a lot, but you can upgrade annually as they bring out more gear. Here's the full list of what you should have: Message 22284878
Tarken-san is hurrying to get zenbu.net.nz ready for you to use should you visit New Zealand [February and March is the recommended time to visit unless you want snow]. Right now you can poke around in zenbu.co.nz to check out maps, accommodation, and stuff [though it's very much in infancy for search results]. You can of course use Vodafone's HSDPA and other GSM-based services where that's not available.
I am going to get up and go and shout myself a nice lunch/brunch at Latteland to celebrate your acquisition.
I don't know, but it probably has a QUALCOMM ASIC in it since it is powered by HSDPA which you didn't mention. That's fast CDMA and while there are other ASIC suppliers, QCOM is ahead of the rest so I think you probably bought one for about US$25 or maybe it's $30. Plus a 4% royalty on the wholesale price should be about $17 for a total of $42 or so. That would buy me lunch at Latteland AND a couple of Happy Meals too.
You could even buy a Zenbu wifi router and hook it up to your HSDPA O2 gadget, for your notebook computer to be free to move more easily and to enable others to hook into your mobile system and PAY you for offering the service anywhere you happen to be.
Tarken-san has been operating what you now have for a year, [but faster, being on CDMA EV-DO]. It's nice to see you catching up with the younger generation. I gave up long ago and fall further behind.
I'm even going to have a shower to go to Latteland. Better be swanky for this, to match my new customer's style.
With love, Mqurice
PS: Erita should have one of those gadgets too. Buy a dozen for everyone for Xmas. Or maybe a sooner celebration. Do you realize you have spent money on CDMA cyberspace when it could have gone into buying more of your heathen heavy metals? That's treachery, treason and sedition in some realms. Mostly you'll find them in caves though, so don't worry about them. I would be interested to see you offer Erita one of those things or the equivalent value in gold, either, or. Pick one. Make the cyberphone pink, not black. |
