Nadine- I am the one who says it isn't like that in the real world. I don't think life is like 24 (and I don't even watch it)- which is why I don't approve of torture. 1. We don't know who the real bad guys are and 2. even our intelligence officers say torture doesn't work. You don't just torture suspects in the hope that they might know something about a truck that might be ready to blow (or has blown up already, or doesn't exist). It's amazing how wrong you can be. Just because you can't find a case to justify the silly thing you said, don't start telling me I am "prepared to look at" things in a way I clearly do NOT look at things.
