My worries about the Rock show were not warranted. Great show. Jordin picked the wrong song, while Lakisha and Melinda "gospeled" their rock numbers and did well. But it's beginning to look like the general audience agrees with us. Even though she did well, Lakisha is on the bottom again this week on DialIdol. I think she and Chris are gone. It appears that Jordin and Blake are leading the group. I hope so. My trouble with rock is that I quit listening to music in the 60's when it came in. Didn't tune back in until the late 80's, when I found I had missed Harry Chapin and Jim Croce. Who were dead. I don't think any father can listen to "Cat's in the Cradle" without a pang. And I love Croce. Have all of his music. I not only missed Neil Diamond, he was elevator music by the time I heard him. :>) Hey, what can I say. I'm a '40s" guy.
