I wouldn't bet on that. My mother has been in her "final days" for almost 3 years. She's 90 years old, weighs only 90 pounds, but keeps on truckin'. She is disappearing right in front of me, but still hangs on. Doctor appointment in about 2 hours and we do this about every 10 days with something new.
