Hi Rob,
Actually, I think today would probably be a great day to buy if you are interested in the long term (1 to 2 years out) but I'm mostly a trader these days...so I won't be buying right now. I do think the knee jerk reaction has been over done but this is very typical of merged companies stock reactions to the first "real" earnings report. A company growing revenues at/about a 20% clip with expected FY08 eps of $1.10ish would imply a price target in the $20-25 range (or 33% to 66% gain from today's drop to $15/share).

I've got other stocks that have much greater short term potential (imo), so I'm not adding to my position. I may eventually take a loss here to offset other gains but I may just hang on and wait it out. I see little reason to dump at $15/share except to offset other short term capital gains.

My small lot isn't going to make much difference either way with my net portfolio but I do regret not taking the sure (but small) profit before the earnings report. I don't usually make this type of mistake as I tend to be more conservative with my profits. It's a decent reminder for the future but a stiff price to pay (relatively speaking) for the educational reinforcement.
