Top 2007 Buy: Internap Network Services

Stanford Group's Rodney Ratliff believes in staying with a winner. His top pick last year, Internap Network Services (nasdaq: INAP), was good for a 268% gain and it remains his top choice for 2007.

Internap offers software and services to help companies with technology needs such as e-commerce, streaming media, video conferencing, virtual private networks and supply chain management. "Internap is a company that righted its ship in 2006--tightened up operations, put a handle on expenses, assumed a higher level of organic revenue growth and began generating growing profits," writes Ratliff.

What impresses Ratliff is that Internap, with 2006 revenues of $181 million, is now going after what he calls scale and growth. He cites the recent acquisition of VitalStream Holdings, as a move that "puts them squarely into the market for the delivery of targeted, online rich media advertising."
