Thank you Peter. There are too many people that can't seem to think beyond the immediate situation.

It's hard to have enough time to think of all the problems we as a Country and as a World have to face...some people just want to dash something together, pretend they made a dent, and then run off to the next problem.

Others don't want us to do preventative planning at all. Or do anything that might actually PREVENT another murdering barbarian attack.

Yet, those are the very people who run to the media, with motormouths running, about "we didn't plan"...."no one did anything for me today"....etc etc.

There are so many examples, but here's another to add below....Should GWB have said re the tsunami in Indonesia two years ago, "we haven't built the ships yet to come rescue you?", or "let Europe do it this time....we're tired of hearing the flack for every little thing...."

I do worry about us as a Country, and our Grandkids and theirs....So many people, and frankly, the media as well, are very much into "blame" and "looking busy" rather than actual contributing input to help solve problems.

We did not make it worse, we changed the problem. I don't buy the theory that Middle Easterners can't sustain a free society, nor do they deserve to be free. That would rile all of the great Presidents from our history. Would Lincoln have said, "never mind, keep the slaves."? Would Washington have said, "never mind, we really want to pay exorbitant taxes to the crown."?
