Ah-nuld wasn't particularly appealing in 2006, but the Dems nominated an absolute loser, Phil Angelidies, over Steve Westly. All because Angelidies had the party connections, while Westly was mostly grass-roots and self-financed.

Seems analogous to Hillary vs. Obama. Though I think Obama's inexperience is a major liability, he probably has a better chance of winning than Hillary. Or more accurately, a lesser chance of losing.

Of course, I'm sure Hillary will end up with the nomination. Why? Because she has the connections. The "Clinton attack machine."
