Ah! You must mean the mostly Republican and Republican-contributing board of Loral --- which were accused by the feds, (and successfully prosecuted during the Clinton administration by federal prosecutors, resulting in criminal convictions and *record* corporate fines, and corporate contracting bans...) for FALSIFYING their requests for technology export license approvals, and then (again according to the feds, and the Courts which heard and decided these cases) exceeding the legal permissions contained in those same, even falsified, export documents in their dealings with the Chinese....
(Well, gee, THAT doesn't sound much AT ALL like your bald statement that 'Clinton sold every secret this country had.' Sounds like they aggressively went after the corporate crooks who put profits ahead of American security interests and got convictions....)
Perhaps you might come CLOSER to establishing a claim like that, Sandy, if you also throw in some of the business deals with the Chinese military that were *approved* during the FIRST Bush II term --- which transfered to the Chinese military American proprietary technologies critical to building Terrain Following Cruise Missiles... (and also the federal approvals allowing the US factory manufacturing super-strength magnets - required for numerous military technologies, *including* cruise missiles - to be sold to the Chinese government, and packed up and shipped directly to China, every piece of manufacturing gear, where it is now run by the Chinese military....)

(More then 90% of ALL NATIONS on Earth have 'most favored nation status' for trading purposes with the US --- only we officially don't use those words to describe it anymore. More like it ACTUALLY IS: 'normal trading partner status' is the term now.)
You know, just like BUSH recently (last December) got Congress to approve for Vietnam. (And, incidentally, *reapproved* numerous times thus far for China.... :-) |
