The problem with these repeated responses is that you fail to read the various articles detailing what went wrong. Some indications of this.

However, I've got no ability to tell if they were really bad management practices if the assessment were up to an objective observer, or if they pissed off one of the longtime staffers and he called them "bad management practices".

It's not one person or several folk calling for his resignation. The list of WB staff organizations that called for his resignation is long, perhaps complete: the union which represents the staff, several organizations representing management groups, etc.

I've already typed the note to you that offers evidence he alienated the very employees least likely to openly oppose him. You can see another take on that from David Brooks' column in the NYTimes today.

No one that I've read opposes W because of his anticorruption campaigns. When he announced that and put it in place, it was one of the moments that looked as if he would be able to overcome his less than promising beginnings. However, the charge against him is that (a) he implemented it not only in a haphazard way but (b) in a way that paralleled Bush administration foreign policies (the classic instance here was one country which had no problems with the WB under Wolfowitz until it asked the US to end the use of its military bases; W then stopped WB assistance).

As a result of this, he lost the confidence of countries who contribute to the anti poverty efforts of the WB. The programs cannot proceed without such contributions.

But I and others have said these things to you before. You don't find evidence to refute them; instead you simply maintain that the issue is precisely as W's defenders have claimed.

If you are going to take W's side, do your homework.
