i agree that he will probably try to find a way to not involve the fat cats, but normally when an insider wants to sell shares, he doesn't do a secondary anyway, he just files the appropriate paperwork and then has a broker work the block until it is sold, perhaps over days or weeks...bill gates has sold off millions of shares and to my knowledge, has never sold any through a secondary

however, i wondered what your comment meant in relation to my question regarding other auction IPO prospects for the future
