Libertarians don't have a single specific position in regard to foreign policy. Their general philosophy is for less government power and control but that can express itself different ways. For examples some opposed Iraq because a war is a government use of force, and because wars generally cause government spending and control to increase (often even outside of areas directly connected to the war). Others supported the war because it would eliminate the reign of a nasty brutal dictator.

I didn't see the Republican debate. I heard some commentary about it this morning, mostly not very positive.

Did anything interesting happen. What do you think of the different candidates?
