Hi Peter,
A week ago I would have asked, please rephrase because your notation is a bit cryptic. Now I understand what you're saying ;) On a more serious note, aside from the issues we've been discussing, stereophonic vs. monaural notwithstanding, are there any other, perhaps greater, architectural factors that must be taken into account? It seems to me that the answer to that last question would depend on the nature of the service territory in question, or in the definition of the solution being sought. Such factors as user modalities, the nature and distribution of end user clusters, teledensities & other demographics, WiFi vs. WiMAX antenna site ratios and the ensuing powering requirements, backhauling, central vs. distributed administration, etc., all come into play. Would you agree that the best fit isn't always the same solution? I should note a bit of disorientation on my part due to my previous perceptions of a model based of eventual harmony, coexistence and interworking. But it sounds like that train has been, or is in the process of being, derailed, based on some of the earlier discussion here.
