I tried to find a reason to vote for some of them Mr. Caruthers.

But they just refuse to give me one.

They haven't shown that the Goal MCU purchase became accretive in the first 12 months or at all.

They appear to think its appropriate to pay managers and "award" shares based on a performance measures that only a Hedge Fund manager could truly love.

They simply have not demonstrated the ability to spur production, increase market penetration, and grow earnings any where near the rate at which they've been able to grow their own compensation.

What makes more sense to you? Giving management 500k shares of stock for a 2% return on equity... or giving TXN 1M shares for some public statements promoting their FRAM roadmap and product plans?

Why is it that we have to do our own Googling to find out that a 4Mb FRAM performs as well or better and is cheaper to produce than a 4Mb MRAM; that Dallas-Maxim started buying FRAM last year; that Samsung "offers" FRAM in Japan if not elsewhere; that L'intel's demonstration PCRAM only gets 10^8 cycles; and that they don't see it as a potential mainstream product before 2010... and that's just this year's "news!" It's the same thing every damn year. If you want to know what's going on its... Google and reading tea leaves.

Vote for any of these guys? Yeah... as soon as I get my Hedge Fund up and running.
