Of course you do, Tim. You are so blindly partisan, you have no choice.
But, ok. Let's just take the first point. With the Defense Authorization act of 2006, the President has the power to declare martial law for any reason. That is a fact. Now you can disagree with facts, Shorty does it all the time, but it is pretty pointless.

See, this is what I mean. The majority would be based on tying up all the lobbying funds for the Republicans and denying them to the Democrats, that is what the K Street project was all about. Lobby groups were pressured to hire Republicans and punished for hiring Democrats, as has been documented. The carrot and the stick was getting favorable legislation passed or voted down. This has been known for years, in fact, DeLay and others bragged about it.
And yes, buying and selling votes in Congress is illegal and likely unethical. |
