Your close, but actually if he was properly diagnosed today he would probably belong in the Bi-polar world, or as you have suggested the manic-depressive terminology from the '70's or chances are he would be identified as schizoaffective. At any rate, any of the above diagnose would make trading very difficult on a day to day basis. So it is a testament to the man that he traded as well as he did. A very good movie to watch is the Russel Crowe movie "A Beautiful Mind" which kind've of shows the difficulties one may have in trading or just plain living in the world that he inhabited. Trust me I know what it is like. I have also been diagnosed with Schizo-affective disorder. When I think back it explains somewhat some of my truly brilliant trades & others that are best forgotten & my truly forgettable rampages on SI @ the turn of the last century. That explains in part the majority of ignores that happened during 911 & shortly after.<ng> I find it very difficult to control the disease...
