Well I lost my directions book for my Epson 440 printer and the disk no longer works but the program for working the printer is on my computer and it did work.. However, there was not black ink and I would assume that it needs a new cartridge. Firstly, does anyone know on the web where to get an inexpensive black cartridge. Secondly... I cannot stop that printer agent from moving back and forth across the bar it's on to be able to get the cartridge in.. How does one stop it without damaging the machine. This information was not available to me in HELP. Also..........this is a 1994 printer. I only have Walmart and Staples in this town. Maybe I should buy an inexpensive printer at this juncture. I have a HP in Florida that is newer. Advice and Aid appreciated.
