There's been a lot of discussion regarding what to do about Norris Hall. Some people are calling for it to be torn down which I personally think would be shame. It's a beautiful old building, and there have been enough victims.

Others are asking that the name Norris Hall be retired and the building be renamed Librescu Hall to honor Dr. Liviu Librescu. the 76 year old ESM professor and holocaust survivor. Dr. Librescu blocked the door of his classroom with his body to keep the gunman out allowing 22 of his 23 students to escape out the windows. He was shot five times through the door and died from his wounds.

There's a online petition in support of the renaming of the building if anyone is interested:
