I guarantee you, if there was anything to the Sparq b.s., it would have shown up on my "radar"... as someone mentioned, a product of this magnitude would pretty well destroy Syquest's existing product line (and what little credibility they have left with customers). Sounds to me like EZdrive II, which pretty well destroyed Syquest to begin with. 'Course, anything is possible - maybe they've retained Syed I. as a marketing consultant.

Once this rumor is thoroughly debunked, the stock will really collapse. $2-1/2 looks like a target buy-in price, now. Earnings (losses) will be a yawner, although they will provide a momentary upswing to the stock. Next significant event is Fall Comdex, where we will hopefully see the unveiling of the Rocket drive. At this point, short-term upside is about $4 - $4.50. Downside is $2.50. I'm sitting this one out - more probability of downside than upside. Might start buying a little at $3, although I definitely want to be holding a position going into Comdex.

Regards,

Joe
