So we are going technical are we? O.K so explain the use of the "crystal". How is it used in "simple LC circuits tuned with a crystal."? Never used one. I used a "diode" if you know what that component is, but it wasn't used for tuning. The antenna was used for several purposes. It amazes me how you always manage to grab the thin end of the wedge on a technical matter. I'm also now interested in this weather station you built at aged 12yrs. Did it have a barometer, and how did these instruments function?
