Gather round the meeting table
kings of men and men.
Delicate faces watch and label
with words of praise and sin.
The microscope upon you lies
as millions live and thousands die,
and jokers cast an evil eye
to pierce the suit you’re in.

Protect the wisdom handed down
kings of men and men.
With strength of friendship gather round
to teach our boys to win.
Within the sphere of all you see
lies the hope, security.
Within that hope our lives are free
to weave the web we’re in.
