Not good news. I went to a "protest" this past Saturday night to get Bloomberg to oust Omar Mohammedi, a member of the NYC Human Rights Commission, who is the President of CAIR NY. The leader of this protest, Joe Kaufman, heads an organization "Americans Against Hate", see americansagainsthate.org The ouster was called for, as Mohammedi is an attorney representing 9/11 defendants and the "flying imams" (Human Rights Commission, get that?). 8-10 people showed in protest! This protest was on the street at the entrance to CAIR NY's annual fundraiser. I don't think there was any effect. What Kaufman and Atlas and the rest of the protesters are were doing is noble, but I don't see how any of this is going to change. Atlas told me she thinks the only way is another attack, unfortunately, but I am not so sure. You can see links on this at atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com
