By making a cute but inaccurate statement like that, you'd be ignoring the fact that conservatives have economic philosophies to go by, while liberals don't.

If its not true, then one must evaluate how effective this economic tool is. The two times "supply side economics" has been used as an economic stimulus, generous tax cuts were provided to the wealthy, concidently the patrons of the two presidents responsible for those cuts. Even the most ardent, competent, conservative economist will agree the results have been questionable. If it works at all, it takes 2-3 years to provide the stimulation the economy needs to recover. Certainly too long a period of time and hardly an effective cure for an ailing economy. And it usually results in a significant increase in the deficit. Consequently, few economists endorse this tool.

Thus the liberal resorts to attacking the "cold heart" of conservative economics, while they push for an emphasis on forced charity.

That's because you all are all about greed. Its clear in everything your leaders say and do. I am sure Scrooge was a Republican. ;-)
