I don't get it. AM2+ is not a server socket, is it? So why should HT3 make much difference on a desktop part? Fusion motherboards? Now if AMD could make an inexpensive chipset that would allow an additional memory channel to steal some of the excess HT bandwidth, maybe HT 3.0 would be worth it. Petz
