Oh I did!
When her team had to keep score and call lines, she made a good call, the ball was in. The coach from the other team stormed over there and got within 3 feet of her screaming "that ball was out, you saw it, you better tell them it was out." She just stood there with her hands on her hips stared straight at him and said, "the ball was in". This guy started to turn beet red, I got up out of my seat, the ref started down out of the stand. My daughter, who happens to have as loud a voice as her mother, said very clearly, "the ball was in, if you had been watching this game, and not the game on the other court, you would have seen the same thing I did". The ref blew his whistle and cautioned the coach.
I gave her a big hug for that one too.<g> |
