Mark, I suggest you reread the SYSF press release at techstocks.com under the "Company Description" section.
Here's an excerpt: "SystemSoft Corporation is a leading supplier of PCMCIA and other system-level software to the rapidly growing market for mobile computers, comprised of laptops, notebooks, subnotebooks and personal computing devices. SystemSoft's system-level software products include Plug and Play software, power management software and BIOS. SystemSoft licenses its software primarily to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), including manufacturers of PCs and PCMCIA cards."
No mention is made of SystemWizard, since this product comprises only a tiny portion of their revenue.
Perhaps you could get a job writing 10-Q reports for SystemSoft. Clearly, you could do a much better job.
You'll find a similar self-description by Pheonix at techstocks.com.
The similarity is no coincidence, as the founders of SystemSoft, as well as many of the employees, are from Pheonix.
So, I take exception to your assertion that, "This thread has gotten flat-out ridiculous.... Folks who still think PTEC and SYSF are in basically the same markets. PTEC has no answer to Systemwizard folks...there is competition out there, but PTEC ain't it anymore...please wake up !!!!"
I suspect you've deluded yourself into thinking that SystemSoft has magically transformed itself from a strong competitor in a 30-50% growth market into the only participant in a hypergrowth market. You'll know soon enough whether your optimism was warranted. |
