Kevin, re AMD <"inferior" process.> There is no reason to argue with this guy. He seems to be unemployed ("independent consultant") because of lack of comprehension that the speed of a device is limited not only by the gate switch delays, but mainly due to gate complexity of CPU units in pipelines. If you take the K6 complexity into account, you may come to a conclusion that may surprise you: contrary to the opinion of those unemployed and retired "experts", there are many reasons to believe that the AMD process is even MORE ADVANCED than those of Intel...
