Sorry to interrupt this hatefest, but Ali you're full of it.

Nowhere have you mentioned SDRAM which is what the LX is really
intended to use. SDRAM is accessed every clock, rather than every
2 clocks for the older EDO ram. Nor have you mentioned that the
440LX can have 2 pages open at once, minimizing page misses.

To suggest that the 440LX is somehow defective because the EDO
memory accesses are not optimized, to to miss the whole point.
Use SDRAM dummy, that's what the chipset is optimized for.

You have once again presented a distorted image, intended purely
to feed your desperate need to find some way to bash Intel , at a
time when AMD has fallen flat on it's face and Jerry has fed you one
lie after another.
