Whenever we go to war certain Christians believe, and will say, that "God is on our side", and that he's "helping" us kill the enemy. Seems like that the same old same old to me. Men will always use Gods as an excuse to do what they want to do anyway. The trick, imo, is setting the world up in a way that no one really wants to invoke the old "smite my enemy" claptrap.
