quick update for everyone following my friend's saga it turned out she was allergic to the nausea meds they gave her for the first chemo - very sick for the first 24 hours - re-hospitalized her the next day to try and get her to stop throwing up after that she had smooth sailing and other than being slightly tired in the mid afternoon, is doing well second chemo is today she is a hyper gal to start with and has thyroid problems, but has felt more than usually "wired" since her first chemo spirits are up - she is wearing over the elbow length rubber gloves and doing gardening - not suppose to, but she is stubborn and hard headed it may be a real plus for her getting through this all
