Sadly, my neighbors, nice folks and all that, had no business trying to keep a dog. Both work, gone all day and left the dog in a 12 x 12 foot pen with 6 foot high pickets. She couldn't even see out and had a shrill bark that started the instant the last one left the house. Many neighbors on all sides of them complained and they finally put a "bark" collar on the dog which shut her up. They secretly blame me for turning them in, which I didn't, but I complained to them a couple times before they finally got the collar. I really hope they don't do it again.
