I'll just add my .02 re: MECA. My wife (then girlfriend) bought MECA I'm guessing 5-6 years ago...a very small impulse purchase. We live in Baltimore and have followed the travails of this company through the local paper, and I followed it, as well, through the financial press. Never liked the company, or management. Pleaded with her to sell the stock, and she did when the stock bumped a little bit. Maybe things have changed after a few years. I will say you have peaked my interest, particularly with the Preakness in less than two weeks.
