TDAmeritrade finally gets their poop inna group................

This will incorporate their own "..in house.." clearing operations for TDW legacy accounts, and should eliminate all the screwing around with call-ins and approvals required to trade a lot of Pennies and Pinks previously meddled with by the contracted outside clearing system.

During the weekend of May 11-13, 2007, we will complete the final steps in combining TD Waterhouse and Ameritrade into one company: TD AMERITRADE. We have many new benefits to bring to you, including a simpler, more enriched online experience… and an easy transition along the way. Here are some highlights:

You have a new account number. You should have already received your new account number(s) in the mail. This new account number takes effect on May 11.

Note: You will NOT use this new account number to log on, however, if you have authorized another financial institution to transfer money electronically to your TD AMERITRADE account, you'll need to notify them of your new account number.

You'll see NO changes to other key areas.

Log on just as you do today. How you log on to the Web site does not
change — use the same UserID or account number you do now (not the new
account number you received in the mail). However, if you created a UserID
in the past, but sometimes use your account number to log on, you'll need to
use your UserID to log on. Messages on the Web site will lead you through
this process.
Continue to use the same checks and debit card you use today. There's
no change.

Please watch for these key transition dates.

Friday, May 11: We start the process of transitioning to the new Web site.
This means that starting Friday after market close, you won't have access to
your account online until late Sunday evening, May 13, when the transition is
complete. Extended-hours trading will not be available Friday, but any open
orders you have at the end of the regular session will remain open.
Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13: The Web site won't be available
during the weekend.
Monday, May 14: Log on as you usually do, using the UserID or account
number you use right now. When you do, you'll be on the new Web site.
Please see A Quick Guide to Your New Web Site for the changes and new
features you can expect. Also on your home page, you can find access to
the following helpful tools:

Visit the Welcome Center for details and common FAQs.
Try the interactive Quick Tour to explore key features and tasks.

You'll have our support.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please call us at 800-934-4448. When you call, you'll be prompted to enter either your new or current account number, just as you do today. Of course, you are always welcome to visit your local branch for assistance.

Thank you for your business. We look forward to continuing to serve you.

Sincerely,

Bryce Engel
Chief Brokerage Operations Officer
TD AMERITRADE
