I do understand why you say that and also that you don't believe what the fossil records tell us. All the same, it is fascinating that there is a convergence of thinking in the religious and scientific worlds to some extent.

The point I was trying to make, however, is that there were no special ancestors for the Chosen People or anyone else. We were all made from the same clay --- and we still are. Whatever differences exist between us are trivial, superficial and, more often than not, imagined.
